A cowboy's friend is Mother Nature and all that she has to give.
It's the wide open spaces around him, it comes with the life that he lives.

I recently performed at the Gooding County Historical Museum and Judy Erdman sent these fine comments to me:

Hey Ernie,
Just another big Thank You for the last few days in helping our small town Gooding County Museum get a little closer to our great community. It was great to see you personalize the show like sharing your story of meeting up with Lucille Bickett. She has been a long time member of our Gooding County Historical Society. Loved your rope tricks with the children. They were having fun also. You took the time to visit with anyone that wanted to talk with you. During your show it felt like we were just sitting in your living room enjoying you singing to each one of us personally. I hope you know how much your presence has meant to our group and want to thank you very much. Happy Trails, Judy Erdman, Gooding County Historical Museum

It can't get any more recent than this... Lee Kravitz, former editor in chief of Parade Magazine and author of bestselling "Unfinished Business" celebrates me in his Psychology Today Blog for my song "Coyote's Howl". He calls it the anthem of "Unfinished Business". You can read the article under EVENTS.

It was great seeing you again. As usual, you put on a tremendous show for the students. They all thought you were fabulous. A few students didn't realize you were a "real" cowboy. They thought I was joking. The creative writing part also went well. Both groups of kids had a great time. I hope you can come back to my school next year. Patricia Espejo
